We entertain each other with these stories at brunch and in between brunches. We decided that for the sake of our own entertainment in old(er) age, we should try to preserve them. Maybe others will be entertained too.
I had a roommate once who was a complete bully to his girlfriend. He told her he couldn't sleep with her until she lost weight, but he wouldn't break up with her because apparently he enjoyed having her as an emotional hostage. Ugh.
